Forging Peace Together: Rotary Ipoh Central and Our Partner Clubs
Rotary Ipoh Central is proud to champion the cause of peace, an endeavor made stronger and more impactful through the vital support of our esteemed international and local partners. Our commitment to fostering understanding and resolving conflict is significantly amplified by these collaborations, particularly in our pursuit of Rotary Global Grants dedicated to peace-building initiatives.
A cornerstone of our recent peace efforts is our significant involvement in the Asean Rotary Peace Builders initiative, with a key focus on empowering the next generation through the Youth Peacebuilders Training Programme. This ambitious program aims to equip young leaders across the ASEAN region with the essential skills in conflict analysis, mediation, non-violent communication, and intercultural understanding, cultivating a network of Peace Ambassadors dedicated to bridging divides and fostering sustainable peace from the ground up.
This vital work is not undertaken alone. We are immensely grateful for the synergy and shared vision of our partner Rotary Clubs who have joined hands with us. The Youth Peacebuilders Training Programme has benefited from the dedicated collaboration and support of:
